Which one is faster AMD Phenom™ II Processor or Intel® - Core™ i7-950 Processor?

I believe your computer has an AMD Phenom II X4 945. Yous the Intel 950 would be faster...HOWEVER..you can not put an Intel CPU in your machine. The 945 you now have is good enough for most modern games its the video card and ram that would be the things to look at.
